Background in recruitment since 1998. Prior to joining the NHS Robert specialised in executive appointments in the construction, built environment and PFI/PPP sectors and then more generally the public sector – higher education, social housing, charities. He joined the NHS Leadership Academy in 2013 and has led numerous board-level appointments for provider organisations.
 

Robert trained to be a coach through an ICF-approved training company and provides one-to-one career coaching to senior leaders within the NHS focussed on maximising career potential, overcoming barriers to progression, and exploring how to make meaningful change happen.
 

Alongside his work at the NHS Leadership Academy Rob has a busy family life with three kids, he is a volunteer for his local Healthwatch and a public governor in his acute hospital. All of which keep him very grounded!
